Hi everyone, I am afraid that I haven't got any personal King's Indians worth reporting as nearly all my opponents played 1 e4. Still, the summer is full of tournaments so I have plenty of material. The September issue will be on time! |

In Kaidanov - Fiorito we explore an old line in the Averbakh which often leads to spectacular games, and this was no exception.

Nielsen - Michelakis produced an emphatic victory for White after his novelty 10 Bxf6

while in Cebalo - Pavlovic White got crushed in a 4 Pawns Attack after he went down a line that is known to lose by force.

In two of them, Studnicka - Klima and Vila Gazquez-Avrukh we explore some typical Black queen sacrifices.
Meanwhile, in Nguyen Anh Dung-To Quoc Khanh Black adopts a slightly dubious line in the Panno but finds White in a very obliging mood.
And finally in Pelletier - Gallagher I managed to work one of my favourite King's Indians into the issue.
